My name is Johan van Dongen and I am Dutch amateur photographer.
I do like portrait / model- and staged photography. Light setups, after processing, concept,theme, and of course persons are keywords in the photography that I practice. Either in black or white or just the opposite ,in vibrant colors and contrast.
To be close to the subject of the photo is also important (mostly I use wide angle lenses) because I think this gives you the maximum subject-photographer interaction.
Within the site you will find various collections which are changing constantly. It represents my current insight and what is keeping me occupied.
You will also find work from the previous 5 years. It shows that my taste is
still changing and technique is still evolving. I hope you will find the site inspiring
